I don't want to be rude, but I've learnt the hard way that most people have little idea about how video creation works. It's not surprising really, let's face it, most of us don't know how our washing machine actually works - and if we need it fixing, we call someone who does.

What we don't do is then tell the person sent to fix it, exactly how to fix it.

It's weird then that when people approach us for a video, they often have a fully formed idea of what the video will look like.

Commissioning a video should be a similar process to getting the washing machine fixed. What we want to know is what do you want to achieve with your video? We can then use our expertise to create a killer film to do the trick. I can't fix washing machines, but I can come up with an idea that will work for you.

This article has hinted at some of the key questions you should be asking when you select your video production company/agency correctly. Get this right and you can then trust them to do the creative work to fulfil your business aim.
